In northern Russia, seven males have come ahead to assert they had been tortured by police due to their spiritual views. The males are all Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Their organisation was banned by Russia’s Supreme Court in 2017 as extremist and dozens of Jehovah’s Witnesses have since been detained throughout the nation.
